When I was a kid, my grandfather was the catalyst that expanded my thinking about money. He knew of the economic situation my grandmother was in trying to take care of me, so he wanted me to see a different side of life. That day felt like a book was opened to me and only I was privy to read its contents.
Many years later, I have never let go of the dream to be a millionaire and a few times I came close, but no cigar. Now, at 40 something, I looked back at my life to figure out what went wrong? Why had I not achieved millionaire status? I have many excuses that I won't bore you with, but the main reasons I believe held me back was:
*Listening to others and not believing in myself
*Constantly unclear and unfocused on what I really wanted
*Letting the dips outweigh the successes
*Constantly wanting, wanting, wanting, but never actually seeing myself in that millionaire role
Ultimately, the reasons all point to me. But by taking responsibility for my actions and the place I'm at presently, I know I can also control and take responsibility for how I will create my future.
Thus "Getting to Millionaire" was born. It's my goal to create a positive and inspiring atmosphere for those really wanting to be a millionaire. As this develops, you will see many articles, pictures, videos, books and excerpts all designed to put you in the role of millionaire.
Oliver Wendell Holmes was quoted, "The mind, once expanded to the dimensions of larger ideas, never returns to its original size."
This is so true. When my grandfather showed a different way of living, I was no longer complacent with my surroundings. I wanted to grow. I wanted to expand and fulfill whatever purpose(s) I had while on Earth. I wanted to help others. I still have those desires, but now I am all those things. I now become what I wish.
I also encourage you, my dear friend, to really think of how you can see yourself in the role of millionaire. Make believe the past was only a teacher for you to reach this moment and now you can use that vital information to propel you to heights only you can imagine.
You may want to bookmark or subscribe to this blog, because many ideas, concepts and possible solutions will be adding constantly. Some things may not fit with whatever you are needing at the moment or you may find the golden nugget you've been searching for all your life. You never know!
I also encourage readers to interact with Getting to Millionaire and let us learn from each other. Did you try something that worked or didn't work? Let us know. From time to time, I'll be reviewing books, magazines, businesses, as well as scams and possible pitfalls to avoid. If you have experiences relating to anything you see here, please let us know. Your input could save someone the time and heartache of a failed plan or could encourage someone to safely take the next step.
Thank you so much for your precious time! Until we meet again, may everyday be one of joy, happiness and prosperity.
